Our International Policy : The Brittany Region supports foreign film projects by virtue of international co-development funding and a personalised reception in the territory.
Funding for international co-development
In Brittany, over the last ten years or so, the sector’s economy has considerably evolved. International co-productions have developped, notably by virtue of fruitful artistic exchanges within the framework of writing residencies such as those organised by the Groupe-Ouest.
International co-development funding targets Breton production companies established within the territory. These societies must be executive co-producers – with a minority or majority interest – of the work at the time of its development.
Those eligible: feature films and audiovisual series, fiction or animation.
The project must associate a company (co-production) with an established office in the Brittany Region – at the time of payment of the funding – and a production company established outside of France.
