Founded in 2019, Rosmeur Lab is a film production and post-production equipment rental company based at the Rosmeur port in Douarnenez, Finistère.

Our team consists of individuals actively engaged in both personal and collective environmental preservation efforts.
Our Actions:
- The availability of technical equipment and editing rooms on-site eliminates unnecessary travel—this is at the core of our company's mission.
- No printed documents.
- Use of reusable cups and thermoses. No plastic.
- Technical and artistic teams can stay with local hosts, avoiding travel within Douarnenez; all trips are made on foot.
- We encourage teams to travel by train (to Quimper) and then take the bus.
- Rushes are stored on reused hard drives from previous productions to reduce electronic waste.
The most important part of our sustainable production strategy is calculating and monitoring the carbon footprint of each project. Carbon assessments will be updated and reviewed at the end of production and post-production, helping us identify best practices and areas for improvement for future productions.
