MARINE / MILITARY ADVISORS

Military adviser: Philippe Carrère has made a career in the French Navy as an officer (sailing on frigates for 10 years, then 15 years in the Navy Commando Corps). He has spent periods in the military reserves since 2012. Maritime advisor: Philippe Carrère holds a professional qualification from the Merchant Navy.
He also owns and skippers a 9m speedboat used for tourist shipping in Finistère and Morbihan. He is in charge of nautical safety for traditional sailing boat gatherings in Brest, Douarnenez and the Gulf of Morbihan. References as a military and maritime technical adviser:

BOATS (RENTAL)

Cap Iroise offers the use of a speedboat with skipper for transporting equipment, filming, drone platform, etc. Capacity: 9 passengers.

Responsible practices : Cap Iroise has been a signatory of the Iroise Marine Park Partner charter since 2018 (participation in conferences to raise awareness of the marine environment, remote observation and census of marine mammals, commitment to passing on a message of respect for the marine environment to the tourist population).
Philippe Carrère also relays instructions on respecting the environment (anchoring outside eelgrass beds, reduced speed in coastal areas, respecting the nesting period, etc.) to participants in maritime heritage festivals.
The boat was replaced in 2022 in order to reduce fossil fuel consumption.
